Free radicals have been proven to cause premature wrinkles, to help keep these at bay, you should increase the amount of Vitamin C that you take in each day. In addition to red bell peppers and carrots, you may also want to increase the amount of tomatoes that you eat. Tomatoes have been shown to be an excellent source of vitamins which can also aid in the production of collagen, provide needed hydration to your skin and strengthen your skin cells.
  • Lean Beef or Poultry – Studies have shown that women who have more wrinkles than others their same age do not follow a protein rich diet. Additional studies have shown that women who eat less protein are also more prone to skin cracking, tearing and breaking. In order to avoid this, you should try to eat more protein rich foods, such as, eggs, lean beef, poultry, and edamame beans. By eating more of these types of foods, you will begin to notice that your skin is becoming more supple.
